What happens if I cancel my plan?

At Bytescale, we understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your plan with us. We want to ensure that you are informed about what happens to your files upon cancellation so that you can make necessary arrangements to safeguard your data.

File Storage:

Files stored in Bytescale's built-in storage and in the Bytescale CDN's caches, including the permanent cache and edge cache, will be deleted once you cancel your plan. This deletion process is carried out according to Bytescale's internal scheduling procedures, so may not occur immediately.

Recommendation:

To avoid any loss of important data, we strongly advise you to download all of your files before proceeding with the cancellation of your plan. This ensures that you have a local backup of your data that will not be affected by plan changes.

Automated Export:

If you have a large volume of files and manual downloading is impractical, you can use the Bytescale API or the Bytescale SDKs to list your files, allowing you to download your entire account's files programatically.

Please note that each file download will count towards your bandwidth quota.
